Has Officially Pulled 10 Million Pounds!
π π½️ π
π π½️ π
We’re beyond stoked to announce that we’ve officially pulled our 10 MILLIONTH POUND of trash from the ocean, rivers, and coastlines!
Can you believe it? We can! Because we have supporters like you all over the world helping us make this happen day after day. Every powerful movement begins with the actions of individuals striving for change, individuals who refuse to be intimidated by the enormity of their goal and take steps every day to achieve it, no matter how small they may seem in the moment. Reaching 10 million pounds pulled is proof that small acts really do add up!
We can’t thank you enough for the love, support, and encouragement you’ve shown us on this journey. Absolutely none of what we do would be possible without you. Thank you, a thousand times, a million times, 10 million times, thank you! We’re not even close to finished.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about our new 4ocean Up-cycling program and 4ocean Plastic.

We are stoked to present the 4ocean Mobile Skimmer! We custom manufactured this vessel to expedite the process of collecting accumulated plastic out of the ocean. We've been testing the vessel locally, and are excited to deploy it at our international locations where it can have the most impact. The Mobile Skimmer will have a crew member dedicated to monitoring the conveyor to ensure that organic matter and sea life are returned to the ocean before making its way to the super sack. While we know producing these machines won't end the ocean plastic crisis, it will do a great job at combating the plastic that already exists in the high impact areas in which it will be deployed and help raise awareness about this global problem. Stay tuned!

Introducing the 4ocean Harbor Skimmer.
Watch to see a new way to combat the ocean plastic pollution crisis.
This 450 gallon unit acts like a pool skimmer for the ocean, collecting floating surface debris and plastic. The machine runs 24 hours a day and is serviced in hourly shifts by trained employees to monitor any marine life that finds its way into the machine. The intake of the Harbor Skimmer is slow and calm which will keep the environment safe for any animals that swim into the machine opening until a service person can release the creature back into the open ocean.
For pricing, specifications and availability, please email: 4oceantech@4ocean.com

The energy and enthusiasm that the 4ocean Haiti crew brings to cleaning the ocean and coastlines is absolutely electric. March isn’t even over yet and the team’s already recovered nearly half a million pounds of harmful marine debris.
In this video, you’ll join Jeanty, 4ocean’s co-founders, and the 4ocean Haiti crew on the water as they scout the coastlines of Haiti for plastic and have a good time.

We’ve been following the comments and in the spirit of transparency, we want to clear up some questions about our business and mission to help solve the ocean plastic crisis.
The big question this video asks is whether our founders, Andrew and Alex, are pocketing most of the money generated from bracelet sales. The answer: no.
To date, each founder has taken less than 0.7% of our revenue in total compensation since starting the company in 2017. Which means over 98.6% of our revenue is being invested in our clean ocean mission, including cleanups, staff (we have a team of over 300 around the world), marketing to raise awareness, donations to ocean charities, and new ocean cleanup technologies. You should also know our Trash Tracker represents pounds we’ve pulled, not bracelets sold, and our trash collection is far ahead of our bracelet sales count.
Since we’re a private company we don’t publicly share financials, but Andrew and Alex have submitted their personal tax returns and 4ocean’s financials to the Better Business Bureau to verify that they each have received less than 0.7% of our total revenue in personal compensation.
Another question raised was about the status of our OPR vessel. Here’s the straight answer: it’s not ready yet. We still have great hope for the vessel, but we’ve been tied up with modifications, testing, and certifications. We took down the OPR videos and the webpage because they were out of date. My fault, I’m the marketing guy. We have an update coming soon.
We definitely understand why some could assume the worst in the absence of information. Our goal is to clean up the ocean and we promise to do a better job telling the complete story and shining light on everything we’re doing to help solve the ocean plastic crisis.
We’ll soon be posting videos to be more transparent and address questions we’re often asked, so check back at 4ocean.com to learn more.
There are a lot of great organizations working to rid our ocean of plastic. An estimated 16 billion pounds of plastic enter the ocean each year, so it’s going to take every idea, approach, and business model to reverse the damage to our ocean. We applaud all efforts and encourage everyone to take action, contribute, and volunteer wherever you can, be that with 4ocean or with any of the other companies trying to tackle this crisis.
