The look on the lions face is priceless!!
This was so STUPID even the lion was shocked and confused...
The queen of bad ideas confronted the king of the jungle on Saturday when she climbed into a lion enclosure at the Bronx Zoo and taunted one of the big cats in a wild, caught-on-camera encounter.
The unidentified woman can be seen dancing and waving at the wild animal as though it were nothing more than a common house cat, according to video clips posted to Instagram.
Zoogoers on Tuesday questioned whether the woman belongs at the top of the food chain with the rest of the human race.
“I’m sorry, but that’s dumb,” Andrea Arndt said on Tuesday when shown the hair-raising video.
“Why would you do this? What drug was she on to make her dance around a lion like that? It may be a zoo, but it’s still a wild animal.”
Upstate mom Kelly Hawkins called the woman “bizarre.”
“Why would she want to do that? It’s dangerous,” she said, admonishing her kids not to repeat the behavior.
“Imagine something had happened and she’d been mauled in front of a bunch of little kids?”
Andres Rivera, a 22-year-old babysitter from Westchester, said it looked like the woman in the video “was asking for it.”
“The fence is there for a reason,” Rivera said. “I don’t know if you’ve seen the new ‘Lion King’ remake, but, spoiler alert, one of the lions is killed by another lion.”
Lucky for the woman, there was a roughly 15-foot moat between her and the lion meant to keep the razor-toothed cats from simply leaping out of their pen and wreaking havoc on the Big Apple.
Still, the zoo wasn’t exactly thrilled.
“This action was a serious violation and unlawful trespass that could have resulted in serious injury or death,” zoo officials said in a statement Tuesday.
“Barriers and rules are in place to keep both visitors, staff and animals safe.
“We have a zero-tolerance policy on trespass and violation of barriers.”
The zoo reported the feline caper to police — and told cops the woman also climbed into a giraffe enclosure, according to law-enforcement officials.
The zoo declined to provide details on the run-in aside from the statement.
But a pack of NYPD officers in golf carts was spotted stalking around the enclosure Tuesday — after videos of the close encounter went viral on social media.
For its part, the lion doesn’t seem that impressed. The male cat can be seen in videos calmly regarding the woman as she waves and dances to get his attention.
And the zoo has other problems besides humans climbing into its enclosures — a venomous mangrove snake has been on the lam since it slipped out of its cage Aug. 6.
Signs were spotted at the zoo warning guests that the 3-foot, tree-climbing serpent is still on the loose as late as Saturday.
And last week, animal-rights activist went to Bronx court to try and get another zoo animal freed from its cage.
The Nonhuman Rights Project is suing the institution, arguing that the zoo’s Happy the elephant is an “autonomous being” whose “liberty is being violated” by captivity.

Woman who Climbed into Bronx Zoo
Lion’s Den Identified
By Reuven Fenton, Larry Celona and Jorge Fitz-Gibbon October 2, 2019
The woman caught on camera inside the Bronx Zoo’s lion enclosure has been identified as a Brooklyn resident — whose friends said she has gone off the rails in the past year.
The brazen daredevil, identified by sources as Myah Autry, 32, posted videos of her walk on the wild side to Instagram on Saturday.
“I REALLY HAVE NOT FEAR OF NOTHING BREATHING,” she wrote in one caption.

“ANIMALS CAN FEEL LOVE JUST LIKE HUMANS.”

“🌳 LITERALLY I HAVE THE SAME DIET AS A GIRAFFE.”🌿🌱
Police are now hunting for the woman to slap her with a trespassing citation.
But Autry on Wednesday flaunted her stunt with new pics on Instagram — including one of slain rapper Tupac Shakur and a lion, and a painting of the biblical Queen of Sheba flanked by two lions.
“Something snapped somewhere,” former house mate Eunice Walton, 63, told The Post. “When I saw the video of the woman walking towards the lion, I said, ‘Why do people do this? People are crazy.’ ”
“And then (Wednesday) morning I found out it was her and I was like, ‘What? Myah?’ ”
Autry had been living with Walton and her daughter on Pacific Street in Brooklyn, but lost touch in recent months.
Walton’s daughter, Akisha Wallace, 31, said she and Autry “grew up like sisters,” but the two grew apart over the past year.
“I didn’t think it had gone that far,” she said of the zoo videos. “I want her to get help. I need her to get help because I’m scared for her.”

Autry has been busted for trespassing before — in West Burlington, Iowa, where police said she got rowdy at a Trailways bust depot in January.
She was arrested Jan. 10 and ended up spending more than two weeks in jail before being cut loose.
“We get it all through here,” West Burlington Police Chief Jesse Logan told The Post, noting news of the woman’s Bronx Zoo exploits had definitely reached the population-2,968 town.
“She just became uncooperative with the manager. She just refused to cooperate with us.

Posed on Instagram with Cops Afterward
2019-10-03
The batty Brooklyn animal lover caught on camera sneaking into a lion’s den brazenly schmoozed with NYPD officers on the same day as the stunt.
Myah Autry flashed a smile alongside three of New York City’s Finest in Times Square in a photo posted to her Instagram account Sunday.
The 32-year-old — who goes by the name Queen Empress Myáh Lareé Israelite online — appears to be wearing the same outfit in the videos of her entering the lion’s enclosure at the Bronx Zoo and taunting the big cat.
Her former friends told The Post they fear for Autry’s mental well-being after watching the zoo videos.
