Little Elephant
Slides Down Slope for Fun
Slides Down Slope for Fun
A baby elephant took some time out of its 'busy' day to enjoy itself - by sliding down a mud slope.
The humorous footage shows the elephant happily wandering through the forests of Yunnan Province, China, near the border with Myanmar.
Upon seeing the slope however the two-year-old elephant decides to have some fun, and gets on its knees to slide down.
Despite the elephant's ample weight it slides down the muddy hill with ease.
The heart-warming moment took place at the Yunnan Asian Elephant Rescue Center.
While smaller than their African counterparts, Asian Elephants are the continent's largest terrestrial land mammals.
More than 100,000 are thought to have existed at the start of the 20th century, but there numbers have fallen by more than half over the last hundred years.
