Also this is the last trailer before the release of 3d walkthrough, where you will be able to enjoy this reconstruction by yourself using modern and innovative 3D technologies.

https://www.realmofhistory.com/2018/02/19/astounding-3d-animation-rome-320-ad

In Loginov’s own words –
We are happy to present a new, 3rd trailer of our project, which dedicated to ancient Rome 3D reconstruction, as it was in 320 AD. Previously we have shown the Forums area, and also Palatine and Capitolium hills with their palaces and major temples. Now, upon the user requests, we have focused on the other location of the center of ancient Rome – it’s now the area around Colosseum. This great amphitheater surely dominates all over around territory, in the meantime, there were a number of magnificent buildings which are also worth to be reconstructed. These are baths of Trajan and Titus, the statue of Colossus Solis, arches of Titus and Constantine, Ludus Magnus, the temple of Divine Claudius. Our team spent some time an recreated this area along with all minor buildings as a complex and added it to the model which has been already done. So we have now almost the entire center of ancient imperial Rome already recreated!

What is our “Rome in 3D” project in general? Broadly speaking, it is an attempt to give you an opportunity to take a look at Rome as it really was, by the eyes of humans who lived there in that time. Due to this, we are already paying much attention (and will proceed) to the level of details, adding realistic materials, colors, visual and weather effects. That’s why we are concentrating just on the center of the Rome for now, just to focus on quality and details.

Now we are planning to add a little additional territory (such as Circus Maximus, Velabrum area), and release our project as a 3d walkthrough application. I hope we will be able to complete it in a year approximately.

The significance of 320 AD –

Lastly, the question may naturally arise – why choose the year 320 AD? Well as we discussed earlier in one of our articles –

As for the significance of early 4th century in Rome’s (the city) history, the period mirrored wide-ranging political and religious upheavals in the capital. In many ways, this short epoch reflected the change from classical avenues to ‘Christianized’ scopes, especially with the rise of Constantine. And almost in an ironic manner, such changes brought about the last spurt of architectural achievements in ancient Rome itself – and these ‘church’ structures were complemented by the earlier incredible specimens built by the ‘pagan’ Romans. Simply put, most of what we know about ancient Rome in our modern age comes from this period, along with the glorious preceding years before the rise of Constantine.

Unfortunately, by 410 AD, Rome unceremoniously lost its status as the administrative center of the western Roman realm, while Constantinople (now Istanbul) had already overtaken the ‘eternal city’ in terms of growth and influence in the late 4th century. Interestingly, by virtue of its newfound status as the wealthiest city in Europe, Constantinople was also called Nova Roma (Νέα Ῥώμη or ‘New Rome’), thus attesting to the power and prestige of original Rome in its imperial heyday.

Thanks, Danila Loginov. Check out his YouTube channel for various other historical reconstructions.

Apple Cider Vinegar 🧴 Side Effects 😲

🧴  7 Side Effects😲
Of  Too Much Apple Cider Vinegar
Written by Franziska Spritzler, RD, CDE
August 10, 2016
#Apple Cider Vinegar from FOOD
Apple cider vinegar is a natural tonic.
It has several health benefits that are supported by scientific studies in humans.
However, people have also raised concerns about its safety and possible side effects.
This article takes a look at apple cider vinegar's potential side effects.
It also provides instructions on how to consume apple cider vinegar safely.

What Is Apple Cider Vinegar?
Apple cider vinegar is made by combining apples with yeast.
The yeast then converts the sugar in the apples into alcohol. Bacteria are then added to the mixture, which ferment the alcohol into acetic acid (1).
Acetic acid makes up about 5–6% of apple cider vinegar. It is classified as a "weak acid," but still has fairly strong acidic properties when it is concentrated.  In addition to acetic acid, vinegar contains water and trace amounts of other acids, vitamins and minerals (1).
Several studies in animals and humans have found that acetic acid and apple cider vinegar may promote fat burning and weight loss, decrease blood sugar levels, increase insulin sensitivity and improve cholesterol levels (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).
Bottom Line:
Apple cider vinegar is made from acetic acid, which may provide several health benefits. These include weight loss, lower blood sugar and healthier cholesterol levels.

Unfortunately, apple cider vinegar has been reported to cause some side effects.
This is particularly true in large doses.
Although small amounts are generally fine and healthy, taking too much can be harmful and even dangerous.

1. Delayed Stomach Emptying
Apple cider vinegar helps prevent blood sugar spikes by reducing the rate at which food leaves the stomach and enters the lower digestive tract. This slows down its absorption into the bloodstream (9).
However, this effect may worsen symptoms of gastroparesis, a common condition in people with type 1 diabetes.
In gastroparesis, the nerves in the stomach don't work properly, so food stays in the stomach too long and is not emptied at a normal rate.
Symptoms of gastroparesis include heartburn, bloating and nausea. For type 1 diabetics who have gastroparesis, timing insulin with meals is very challenging because it's hard to predict how long it will take food to be digested and absorbed.
One controlled study looked at 10 patients with type 1 diabetes and gastroparesis.
Drinking water with 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of apple cider vinegar significantly increased the amount of time that food stayed in the stomach, compared to drinking plain water (10).
Bottom Line:
Apple cider vinegar has been shown to delay the rate at which food leaves the stomach. This may worsen symptoms of gastroparesis and make blood sugar control more difficult for people with type 1 diabetes.

2. Digestive Side Effects
Apple cider vinegar may cause unpleasant digestive symptoms in some people.
Human and animal studies have found that apple cider vinegar and acetic acid may decrease appetite and promote feelings of fullness, leading to a natural reduction in calorie intake (11, 12, 13).
However, one controlled study suggests that in some cases, appetite and food intake may decrease due to indigestion.
The people who consumed a drink containing 25 grams (0.88 oz) of apple cider vinegar reported less appetite but also significantly greater feelings of nausea, especially when the vinegar was part of an unpleasant-tasting drink (14).
Bottom Line: Apple cider vinegar may help reduce appetite, but may also cause feelings of nausea, particularly when consumed as part of a drink with bad flavor.

3. Low Potassium Levels and Bone Loss
There are no controlled studies on apple cider vinegar's effects on blood potassium levels and bone health at this time.
However, there is one case report of low blood potassium and bone loss that was attributed to large doses of apple cider vinegar taken over a long period of time.
A 28-year-old woman consumed 8 oz (250 ml) of apple cider vinegar diluted in water on a daily basis for six years.
She was admitted to the hospital with low potassium levels and other abnormalities in blood chemistry (15).
What's more, the woman was diagnosed with osteoporosis, a condition of brittle bones that is rarely seen in young people.
Doctors who treated the woman believe the large daily doses of apple cider vinegar led to minerals being leached from her bones to buffer the acidity of her blood.
They also noted that high acid levels can reduce the formation of new bone.
Of course, the amount of apple cider vinegar in this case was much more than most people would consume in a single day — plus, she did this every day for many years.
Bottom Line: There is one case report of low potassium levels and osteoporosis likely caused by drinking too much apple cider vinegar.

4. Erosion of Tooth Enamel
Acidic foods and beverages have been shown to damage tooth enamel (16).
Soft drinks and fruit juices have been more widely studied, but some research shows the acetic acid in vinegar may also damage tooth enamel.
In one lab study, enamel from wisdom teeth was immersed in different vinegars with pH levels ranging from 2.7–3.95. The vinegars led to a 1–20% loss of minerals from the teeth after four hours (17).
Importantly, this study was done in a lab and not in the mouth, where saliva helps buffer acidity. Nevertheless, there’s some evidence that large amounts of vinegar may cause dental erosion.
A case study also concluded that a 15-year-old girl’s severe dental decay was caused by consuming one cup (237 ml) of undiluted apple cider vinegar per day as a weight loss aid (18).
Bottom Line: The acetic acid in vinegar may weaken dental enamel and lead to loss of minerals and tooth decay.

5. Throat Burns
Apple cider vinegar has the potential to cause esophageal (throat) burns.
A review of harmful liquids accidentally swallowed by children found acetic acid from vinegar was the most common acid that caused throat burns.
Researchers recommended vinegar be considered a “potent caustic substance” and kept in childproof containers (19).
There are no published cases of throat burns from apple cider vinegar itself.
However, one case report found that an apple cider vinegar tablet caused burns after becoming lodged in a woman’s throat. The woman said she experienced pain and difficulty swallowing for six months after the incident (20).
Bottom Line: The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar has caused throat burns in children. One woman experienced throat burns after an apple cider vinegar tablet became lodged in her esophagus.

6. Skin Burns
Due to its strongly acidic nature, apple cider vinegar may also cause burns when applied to the skin.
In one case, a 14-year-old girl developed erosions on her nose after applying several drops of apple cider vinegar to remove two moles, based on a protocol she’d seen on the internet (21).
In another, a 6-year-old boy with multiple health problems developed leg burns after his mother treated his leg infection with apple cider vinegar .
There are also several anecdotal reports online of burns caused by applying apple cider vinegar to the skin.
Bottom Line: There have been reports of skin burns occurring in response to treating moles and infections with apple cider vinegar.
7. Drug Interactions
A few medications may interact with apple cider vinegar:
  • Diabetes medication: People who take insulin or insulin-stimulating medications and vinegar may experience dangerously low blood sugar or potassium levels.
  • Digoxin (Lanoxin): This medication lowers your blood potassium levels. Taking it in combination with apple cider vinegar could lower potassium too much.
  • Certain diuretic drugs: Some diuretic medications cause the body to excrete potassium. To prevent potassium levels from dropping too low, these drugs shouldn’t be consumed with large amounts of vinegar.
Bottom Line:
Some medications may interact with apple cider vinegar, including insulin, digoxin and certain diuretics.

Most people can safely consume reasonable amounts of apple cider vinegar by following these general guidelines:
  • Limit your intake: Start with a smaller amount and gradually work up to a maximum of 2 tablespoons (30 ml) per day, depending on your personal tolerance.
  • Minimize your tooth exposure to acetic acid: Try diluting the vinegar in water and drinking it through a straw.
  • Rinse your mouth: Rinse with water after taking it. To prevent further enamel damage, wait at least 30 minutes before brushing your teeth.
  • Consider avoiding it if you have gastroparesis: Avoid apple cider vinegar or limit the amount to 1 teaspoon (5 ml) in water or salad dressing.
  • Be aware of allergies: Allergies to apple cider vinegar are rare, but stop taking it immediately if you experience an allergic reaction.
Bottom Line:  To consume apple cider vinegar safely, limit your daily intake, dilute it and avoid it if you have certain conditions.

Apple cider vinegar can provide several health benefits.
However, to stay safe and prevent side effects, it's important to monitor the amount you consume and be careful with how you take it.
While a small amount of vinegar is good, more isn't better and may even be harmful.

Chocolate 🍫Reasons Why it's Good for You

Reasons Why Chocolate
Is Good for You
(#1 Longevity Food)
https://66.media.tumblr.com/2f728a9850df2a83ea46429b792c5ae8/tumblr_puaic98mZP1smcc9to1_400.gifhttps://66.media.tumblr.com/2f728a9850df2a83ea46429b792c5ae8/tumblr_puaic98mZP1smcc9to1_400.gif
9 Reasons Why Chocolate is Good for You (#1 Longevity Food)
Cacao or Chocolate is probably one of the best-loved superfoods out there. Yes, chocolate can be a superfood. That is because chocolate comes with a whole host of surprising health benefits.

The cacao beans in the chocolate are really where all the benefits come from, and cacao contains chemicals such as theobromine and flavonoids that help keep us healthy and promote longevity. However, before you go and indulge in your favorite candy bar, listen to this. The stuff added in chocolate to make it sweet, like vegetable oils, GMO soy lecithin, milk, and sugar, are way less than excellent for the body. If one is going to partake in chocolate, it should be organic, contain 50% or more cacao, contain no commercial dairy products, and no commercial sugar.
Here are the amazing health benefits of chocolate!

1. Heart Health
According to a Swedish study, women who ate two helpings of dark chocolate a week had fewer heart problems. Also, chocolate is known to reduce strokes and blood pressure as well as the incidences of heart attacks.

2. Helps with Weight Loss
Dark chocolate helps a person feel fuller compared to light chocolates because it contains more magnesium that shuts off the appestat (your inner appetite gauge). Thus, it is the perfect treat for those wanting to lose some weight. This is why almost any “diet” contains chocolate: it is a long-known appetite suppressant. However, just eating dark chocolate will not shed pounds. Exercising is still necessary.

3. Fight Adult Onset Diabetes
You heard that right! Chocolate consumption can help fight diabetes. Unsweetened raw cacao or raw chocolate contains the nutrients (magnesium, chromium, iron, zinc, copper, saturated and monounsaturated ketogenic oils, as well as flavan-3-ols (flavonoids) necessary to maintain energy over extended periods of time without one’s energy crashing. An Italian study showed that regularly consuming chocolate increased a person’s sensitivity to insulin that reduced their chances of developing adult onset diabetes.

4. Protects the Skin
Because of the fat-soluble antioxidants found in the oils of dark chocolate, it is excellent for protecting one’s skin from the sun. Raw cacao butter (cold-pressed chocolate oil) has an SPF of about 3. This may not be strong enough for you to ditch the sunscreen, but then again, if you mix raw cacao butter with some coconut oil and spirulina and use that topically, it might be strong enough!

5. Lower Stress Levels
We probably didn’t need to tell you about this one, but it has been scientifically proven. Swiss scientists have found that eating dark chocolate twice a week significantly reduces stress levels. Chocolate is an excellent source of anti-depressant phenethylamine (PEA) molecules. Also, chocolate nourishes the brain with the endorphin anandamide and helps keep natural endorphins in your blood longer with its anandamide reuptake inhibitors.

6. Cough Cure
The theobromine found in dark chocolate acts as a natural cough suppressant according to some sources. Theobromine minimizes activity in the vagus nerve that is responsible for persistent coughs. For the same reason, chocolate has been shown to be three times more effective than asthma medications.

7. Intelligence Boost
Dark chocolate with high levels of flavanols (aka. flavan-3-ols) and theobromine helps increase blood flow into and out of the brain and reduce stress. This makes a person better able to focus, problem solve, and stay on task. Feeling bogged down? Have some dark chocolate.

8. Mood Lift and Stress Reduction
The phenethylamines, endorphins (anandamide), and magnesium in chocolate are all natural mood lifters because they reduce the stress response. There are even chocolates designed to help control stress with special super nutrients like Xanthohumol such as Sacred Chocolate’s Longevity Bliss.

9. Increases Blood Flow
The reason cacao is good for the heart is because of its natural blood thinning and anti-blood clotting properties. It helps a person’s blood move throughout the body easier and also contributes to building healthy blood.
All the people out there who say obsessing over chocolate is wrong can now be ignored. It is not like we were listening to them anyway. Add the perfect amount of cacao and chocolate to your diet to gain the edge that only chocolate provides. Now everyone has plenty of good reasons to eat chocolate.

Caution:
Cacao is a stimulating, nutritious, and neurologically-active superfood, and over the long-term, consideration should be taken off the way David Avocado Wolfe recommends that any stimulants be taken. With anti-stimulants such as reishi mushroom tea or extracts, Chaga mushroom tea or extracts, mucuna powder, ho shou wu (fo-ti) tea, and/or sea salt.
