I have seen this movie at least once a year since childhood and it never gets old.

Bithiah finds Moses
The Ten Commandments
Bithiah, the Pharaoh's daughter, finds Moses in a basket and decides to adopt the boy even though her servant, Memnet, recognizes the child is Hebrew. Bithiah names the baby Moses.

Lem-1 with an E:  Anyone else notice that Moses walks in holding gloves? Egyptians used them for handling the reins in chariotry. They found several pairs in King Tut's tomb, and the artifacts therein were used extensively to model the props in this movie.

Cecil B. DeMille's 1923 silent film, "The Ten Commandments," required thousands of actors, crew, and animals along with an immense set that was too expensive to move. DeMille ordered it to be buried so that rival filmmakers couldn't use it. Now, archaeologists have unearthed part of one of the 21 sphinxes he left behind. Alex Wagner reports.
